A V-block is a simple method of safely transporting reels of foil from pallet to machine.
The packaging machine has a detachable shaft which is placed in the core of the replacement reel. The reel rests in the V-block cradle while the operator pushes the lift into place and lifts the shaft into position. The V-block is on a rotating plate on a platform for easier access. The operator can then by maneuvering the platform up / down and moving the lifter, easily position the shaft back in place with the new reel mounted on.
For increased flexibility the V-block is detachable so that the platform can be used to lift other goods in between changes.
